AA Browser Wiki is an independent informational website. It does not operate the AA Browser application, host user browsing sessions, or control data practices inside the app. For the application's privacy claims and source code, review the official kododake/AABrowser repository.
1. Information processed by this website
- Basic server and security logs, such as requested URL, timestamp, IP address, browser user agent, response status and referrer, when provided by hosting infrastructure.
- Messages and the contact information you choose to send to [email protected].
- Aggregate page and performance information if privacy-respecting analytics are enabled by the site operator or hosting provider.
You do not need an account to read pages or use a download link. The site does not ask you to upload an APK, provide a vehicle identifier, connect an Android Auto account, or enter browsing history.
2. APK downloads and external links
AA Browser Wiki does not host AA Browser APK files. Download links run a 15-second browser-side countdown and then open an official GitHub Release asset. GitHub receives the normal request information associated with visiting its site and applies its own privacy policy. The countdown state is not a malware scan and does not upload your local file.
The site also links to GitHub source files, Issues, Releases, the GNU license, and other first-party project resources. External services control their own cookies, logs, accounts and retention practices. Review their policies before providing information.
3. How information is used
- Deliver pages, static assets and official-source redirects.
- Diagnose broken links, build errors, abuse, spam and security incidents.
- Respond to corrections, accessibility reports, privacy requests and support messages.
- Understand which version, compatibility and installation pages are useful in aggregate.
4. Cookies and local browser behavior
The core content and countdown do not require an account. Hosting, caching, security, advertising or analytics systems may use cookies or similar browser storage when configured. You can control cookies through your browser, although blocking necessary storage can affect some site or third-party functionality.
The download countdown runs in your browser and temporarily updates the clicked button. It does not inspect the downloaded APK or send a checksum from your device to this site.
5. Sharing, retention and security
We do not sell personal information. Limited information may be processed by hosting, security, email, analytics, advertising or legal service providers when needed to operate the site or comply with law. Logs and support messages are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for operations, security, support and legal obligations.
No website can promise perfect security. Do not send passwords, private browsing history, payment details, vehicle identifiers, authentication tokens, APK signing keys, or sensitive screenshots to the support address.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection regarding personal information associated with you. Contact [email protected] with enough context to locate the relevant support message or record. We may need to verify the request.
If you only read the static pages and did not contact us, there may be no account record or user-submitted content to identify beyond ordinary infrastructure logs.
7. Children's privacy
This is a general-audience technical information site and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child sent personal information through support, contact us for review.
8. Policy changes and contact
We may update this policy when site hosting, analytics, advertising, support workflows or functionality changes. The effective date will be revised when material text changes.
